13" brand new, bottom rung, non-retina with firewire, dual core, cd drive, intel 4000 graphics (?)
or
15" refurb, non-retina and not high resolution screen either, with firewire, cd drive (yep, older model), quad core, and discrete graphics i believe
mainly for audio....but also as a backup video, if the need arises. both are same or similarly priced. looking to have this as my workhorse lappy for audio gigs since most of my gigs are beachside and i've kept my current mbp for club or indoor video gigs only. my current workhorse is a 7 yr old dell and looking to get retired soon. all the salt air has made the heat sink vents corroded. shudder to think what inside looks like.
13" is great for portability. and it's brand new. basic video mixing would probably be okay if needed. but only dual core. and i'm pretty sure serato dj is able to make use of multiple cores if cpu has more available.
15" has the quad core. def no worries on the cpu and for vid mixing. only cons are it's a "refurb" (i know apple refurbs are great tho) and lugging 2 15" lappys in a backpack....or carrying 2 backpacks. which i currently do but getting tired of it.

I would get that one. The weight wont be much different between the 2.

Just curious how much are you paying for the 15" refurb? I just bought a 15" mid 2014 Mbp sealed from best buy for $2500 and well worth it.

If there is a chance that it'll be used for video ever I'd go for the 15" for the dedicated graphics card and the i7 ... The weight difference is barely if at all noticeable when carrying in a backpack ... Apple Refurbs are awesome I've known quite a few people personally that have gotten them and they've pretty much only been open box turned on once and returned ... Don't look at a refurb as a con because the 15" is in my opinion a superior machine to the 13"

it's about $1k. i think it's a 2012. with a low resolution glossy screen.

I have a 2012 15" MBP myself and couldn't be happier it runs SDJ with PnT & ME with no problems at all and I'd take it over a top spec brand new 13" retina any day and for only $1K I'd jump on it

Riders need helmets that meet certified protection standards, gloves that improve grip, boots that stabilize their stance, goggles that protect from dust, and protective armor that shields them during rough rides.

Listening to music while playing at Fast Payout Casinos is an unbeatable combination for me. There's something about the rhythm of my favorite tunes syncing with the adrenaline rush from casino games that makes for an exhilarating experience. Whether I'm spinning slots, trying blackjack strategies, or waiting for a roulette wheel’s final stop, having a great playlist in the background keeps me in the zone and elevates my mood. Plus, fast payouts ictir2016.org mean that when I do hit a win, getting my hands on my earnings doesn’t involve patience-testing delays - it just adds to the instant gratification factor! Sometimes I even match the game's vibe with different music genres - jazz for poker or pop hits during slots - which enhances both relaxation and thrill levels. It's like creating my own little universe of sound and luck, where entertainment meets reward swiftly and satisfyingly.
