I have a question: I often play B2B with my DJ partner. He uses Beatport, and I use Tidal. Up to now, we’ve been doing it like this: he logs into his Beatport account in Serato DJ Pro, and I download my Tidal playlists via third-party tools so I can bring the tracks as local files into DJ Pro.
But it would be so much more convenient if I could also access my Tidal library directly — especially since sometimes you quickly discover new tracks and don’t have the time to first download them with tools like Sidify.
The main challenge is that in a B2B set we actually need both streaming services available at the same time: my partner relies on Beatport for his library, and I rely on Tidal for mine. Synchronizing our playlists into one single service is not a real solution for us, since we want to keep using our respective streaming platforms during the same session.
@product team: Do you plan to make it possible in future versions of Serato DJ Pro to use two or more streaming services simultaneously?
