All my library (more than 30k tracks) is well organized in iTunes/Music app. Some fields have no equivalence on Serato DJ.
For these cases would be awesome that Serato could be able to read that fields. I don't know if this is not possible because they are encrypted fields only iTunes is able to read (but I do not think so, MP3tag for example can read the fields I miss on Serato DJ).

So,would be great Serato expand the fields the software can use.
Would be even better if we can create new costumized fields.

I am a mashup artist an a mashup song not only have the artist of the track but also all the artists of the original songs involved in the mashup so I always need more fields than a standard dj.

Another example is the "year" field, a new track can have a sound close to a sound from an specific decade or a remix created in 2025 of an original song from 20 years ago.

etc.

Would be great to have specific fields for those purposes & if the serato team does not want to think all the possible fields we could need at least let us costumize the fields.

This is specially important in the era of the end of iTunes, when Serato is rethinking & launching a new Library & mostly because the smart creates rules is based fully in metadata.
