We have removed the ability to import m3u files in Serato DJ Pro 4.0.0.

This is very Important Function of making Playlist and import from Apps like Crate Hackers which is very important for weddings or birthdays, the client gives a Spotify Playlist then crate hackers search for all the music and creates a M3U File to import into Serato. The program has a ability to reach which dj pools if it's not located on my hard drive. By removing this Function you might loose customers from other dj software. Not a smart Business move.

This is a must have feature, I manage my library across a main workstation and then a few DJ laptops through external drives. None of my music is on the actual work laptops as this provides me a ton of flexibility, mobility, and redundancy. Not having M3U playlist import messes up my entire setup. Until Serato gets a proper export/sync functionality this is a no-go for me and I have downgraded by to 3.3.5

M3U playlists allow me to sync with a program like media monkey which has superior tagging, search, and metadata functionality to manage my massive library. This also allows me to have crates that reference one song across numerous crates without creating a duplicate of that song in each crate that it's in.
