Auto Import was a great feature that made the management of music so seamless. It has been brought to my attention that auto import is not a functionality of Serato 4.0 which is quite unfortunate. I dont know why it was taken away but I wanted to request if this feature can be brought back. Luckily it is not a new feature and does not affect anything.
In the previous version, I could hold command and shift and then be able to specifically select song out of a crate but that functionality seems to have been removed as well. I see that Serato takes into consideration what customers say but these are not major development work as the code is already in existence. Thank yoo

Please bring back the old Auto-Import behavior that was available before Serato 4.0.

The previous Auto-Import workflow (where Serato watched a folder and automatically added new tracks to the library / crates) was a huge time-saver and a core part of how many of us manage music. Since it was removed in 4.0, it’s become much more tedious to keep libraries and structured crates up to date.

It would be amazing if you could:
• Restore the old Auto-Import feature, or
• Add an option in settings to enable legacy Auto-Import behavior for those of us who rely on it.

Losing this feature really hurt my workflow, so I’d really appreciate if it could be brought back in some form.

Please reinstate the Auto Import feature. My workflow is been built around this, which I have used for years. The fact that Serato moves the physical files surely means this feature is in fact broken, and not removed?
