Restore "Auto Import" Folder Functionality in Serato DJ 4.0

What is the missing feature?
I am requesting the restoration of the _Serato_/Auto Import folder functionality that was seemingly removed in Serato DJ 4.0. Previously, placing files or folders into this directory would automatically add them to the library upon launching the software.
How I would like to see it implemented:
Restore the previous behaviour. When Serato launches, it should scan the Auto Import directory. If files are found, they should be analyzed and added to the library immediately (either to a "Latest Import" crate or a sub-crate).
Why I’d like this feature & How I use it:
My workflow relies entirely on this automation. I have configured my browser and downloaders to save all new music directly to the Auto Import folder by default. Previously, this meant my library was automatically populated with my new tracks the moment I opened Serato. Removing this feature breaks this automation and forces me to manually import every single file I download.
Furthermore, in Serato 4.0, the software still physically moves these files to the "Imported" folder on the drive but does not add them to the library database. This confusing behavior implies the feature is broken rather than removed. Please bring back the full functionality.

I too have my workflow set to use this feature that has been there for YEARS.
The fact that the physical file transfer still happens means this is broken, not "removed".
Please reinstate in the next release.

After using VDJ for years and switched over to Serato DJ. I was disappointed that Serato didn't have a "Folder (& sub) Monitoring" feature which made the worst part of DJing - obtaining & organizing our music collection.
So, I adapted when I learned about the 'auto import' and Mac's Automator. It wasn't perfect but it helped. Now it's gone... Still moves the files but doesn't update the library.
I thought technology is supposed to make our lives easier. We need this back or something better.

Also .M3U support has been removed too:
Posting this to elevate visibility, was told by the Serato bug support team to bring this up in the feature request section. We should not have to request features that we've had since the Serato Itch days (maybe even earlier than that?).
.M3U support is a pillar of library management, especially for those of us with rather large and complex mutli-computer setups.
What gives????
Comment and post for visibility, this needs to be a priority in the next 4.?? release

Totally agree with you, improvements don’t come with taking away previous features. They told that auto import was removed because not enough users use that feature. Like, Really?
