Goal:
Organize tracks within a crate by one parameter with the ability to make further adjustments if needed.
Problem:
Pre 4.0 you could for example:
1) Sort by the BPM column
2) Notate the number (#) of the top track in the crate
3) Select all tracks (CMD+A)
4) While all tracks are still selected Click (#) to sort by track order
5) Locate the number of top track notated before (#)
6) Drag that track to the top of the crate
Resulting in the crate organized by BPM with the ability to further order tracks to your liking manually since you are now sorting by the (#) column. This was the case whether starting with Key, BPM, Artist etc.
This is not working in version 4.0 Please fix.
This is the case with local tracks and streaming tracks.
Yes, you can just start by sorting by (#) and organizing the tracks in your crates as you wish, but with large crates that process becomes time consuming when there was already a more efficient way of doing it before.
This is NOT to be confused with the feature allowing you to sort by two columns at a time as that feature DOES NOT allow for track reordering.
