This to me is a major issue. I have been a DJ for over 30 years. I have seen software’s and people come and go. This software is the most amazing software in the entire world. It’s simple it’s easy to use and it just works, but the newest version has a major flaw major issue in my book.

When I DJ if I download a new song from my music subscriptions or iTunes or anywhere else I purchased music I like to copy the song right into Serato DJ PRO immediately. I could do that no problem with the older version of Cerrato, but with the latest version that just came out, you can do it, but you now have a hard drive eject button right there and it’s very easy to hit that button and eject the hard drive and then you have to reconnect the hard drive and then wait for it to load back into Serato. When you have as much music as I have, it takes a couple of minutes for all the songs to come back in to Serato.

There needs to be a feature in the settings where if you click it, it disable the hard drive eject button and that would fix all the issues when you’re DJing and you’re under pressure that’s the last thing you wanna hit is the hard drive eject button.

I don’t know whose idea was to put that in the software, but to me it is the worst idea in the whole entire world. I have never complained once about Serato DJ. It has been an amazing product and has just worked.

Please please get this issue fixed immediately. This is a major problem.
