Hey what's up guys, I've been spinning for about over decade or soand stopped for personal reasons. I recently snapped my ankle skateboarding so I wanted to hop back on the tables again. I purchased a new Mac, but since my rane 62 wasn't supported by Serato DJ (new OS) anymore so I was just stuck with 2 technics and a Seratoless mixer. But I recently made a prucahse of phase, pioneer s DJM11 (was thinking of DJM S9 but since it was discontinued I was afraid something similar would happen like it did with my Rane62. Anyway, The External HD I have (LACIE) has a fire wire 400 connection and I'm unable to find any legit adapters. it does have connection for fire 800 as well but from my memory the firewire 800 wasn't working properly so fire wire 400 was the only way I were able to transfer my music. it might've been the cord but if anyone has any input for a dj that's getting back in the game I'd really appreciate it. I spin mostly hip hop so I was just gonna join some record pools, DMS (for unremixed original 90's &00's). Or if anyone know better pools with those song please lmk. for premium it’s bit pricey compared to other pools but from what I remember that was the only pool that had the whole selection of the oldies. Also if you have any input on pioneer djm s11, or any input how to use streaming since that’s still new to me as well. Thanks in advance!
